Hey Key Clubbers! Our apologies for such scarce updates. A lot has happened over the summer! The current District Board meeting minutes for the 2011-2012 Key Club year are uploaded on the Resources page. Furthermore, the current Governor newsletters and Secretary newsletters are available.

We know you have been waiting a long time for the 2011 Utah-Idaho Key Club District Convention and 2011 Key Club International Convention pictures, but at long last, all pictures taken mainly by District Bulletin Editor Calvin Chhour are available on the Utah-Idaho District’s Photobucket page.

On behalf of the Utah-Idaho Key Club District Board, we would like to wish you a wonderful rest of the summer, and a fortuitous school year.

Hey Key Clubbers! On behalf of the Utah-Idaho District Board, we would like to thank all committee applicants in submitting their applications in a timely manner. Below are the final results of the committee applications. Please note that the chair of each committee is required to attend all board meetings and district events, and will subsequently sign a binding contract to uphold the aforementioned obligations.

Hey Key Clubbers! This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The Utah-Idaho District’s 57th Annual District Convention is today, Friday the 18th of March! Registration at the Red Lion Hotel in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah starts from 3:30 PM and ends at 6:00 PM, so please make sure you arrive safely and on time! As the Utah-Idaho Key Club District Board, we hope to see you all have a blast as we are about to go Roman Into Service!

DCON News Upcoming Events

Hello everyone! Some of you are asking to whom you should pay your $50 registration fee. Make sure you or your parents write a check for $50, paid to the order of Utah-Idaho Kiwanis District Foundation. Give your forms and checks to your club presidents, so they may mail/give them to the District Board. Registration packets are due in three days! We hope to see you all soon!

DCON News Upcoming Events

Hello everyone! Many of you have been wondering about the toga party and what you should bring. We will not be providing togas or laurel leaf crowns, so please, bring a white sheet and other Roman props to DCON so you may participate in the toga making activity! As for the toga dance, please remember that a shirt must be worn underneath the toga. Anyone who violates this regulation will be forced to leave the dance. Also, remember that the deadline is six days away, so please give your club presidents your applications. Thanks for your cooperation! Let’s have a blast at DCON!

All of this information will also be in the Resources page of the website. It is mandatory that you download, print, and fill out all the necessary material in Section A if you want to attend District Convention. For those interested in running for District Board positions, please download, print, and fill out your desired position application page. Remember, early registration is due before Saturday, March 5, so give your applications to your Key Club Presidents before that date! We are expecting a large turnout this year, so get ready and get excited for our 57th Annual Utah-Idaho District Convention!

Hello everyone! As of now, the District Board has finalized where DCON will be held. The 57th Annual Utah-Idaho Key Club District Convention will be held at the Red Lion Hotel, at 161 West 600 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. For more information about the Red Lion Hotel, or directions to this venue, please click the map below.

DCON News Upcoming Events

Hey Key Clubbers! As you all know, District Convention, often referred to as DCON, is one of the culminating Key Club events each year. The planned dates for DCON are Friday, March 18th to Sunday, March 20th; registration applications for DCON are soon to come, so check the site regularly for those papers. The location of DCON will be thoroughly discussed at the Winter District Board Meeting on the last weekend of January. Make sure you contact your Club Presidents and/or Division Lieutenant Governors for more information! If you need Lieutenant Governor contact information, please click on the “Contacts” link at the top of the page.
