DCON News Upcoming Events

Key Clubbers, get ready for the largest District event in the Key Club Year—get ready for the 58th Annual Utah-Idaho Key Club District Convention! This year’s theme is “The Magic of Service,” an amalgamate of Harry Potter themed activities and decorations! Get your wands and brooms, ’cause you’re gonna need it for this amazing event! The Convention will be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Boise, Idaho from March 30 to April 1. The address to the hotel is 1800 Fairview Ave, Boise, Idaho 83702 (see map below). Transportation for Utah Key Clubbers is available.

Although the entire registration packet is still being made, the member registration form is available in the resources page. To attend, you must fill out both the registration form and the medical release form attached. On behalf of the Utah-Idaho Key Club District Council, we look forward to seeing all of you at the most exciting District Convention yet!

FTR Upcoming Events

Hello Key Clubbers! Due to the extraordinary amount of media the Executive Board needs to produce, a new Technical Resources Committee has been created. Co-chaired by District Webmaster Andy Ding and District Bulletin Editor Calvin Chhour, the elite three applicants for this committee have been chosen to join the Technical Resources “Geek Squad” Committee. The chosen members are:

Angel Demirev – Division 8B: Hillcrest Key Club
Brandon Zhou – Division 8B: Skyline Key Club
Vincent Fu – Division 8B: Skyline Key Club

Although we are not accepting any more applications, we would like to thank everyone who applied and, on behalf of the Utah-Idaho Key Club District Board, we would also like to wish you all a great year of service and leadership in Key Club.

Hey Key Clubbers! Our apologies for such scarce updates. A lot has happened over the summer! The current District Board meeting minutes for the 2011-2012 Key Club year are uploaded on the Resources page. Furthermore, the current Governor newsletters and Secretary newsletters are available.

We know you have been waiting a long time for the 2011 Utah-Idaho Key Club District Convention and 2011 Key Club International Convention pictures, but at long last, all pictures taken mainly by District Bulletin Editor Calvin Chhour are available on the Utah-Idaho District’s Photobucket page.

Hey Key Clubbers! This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The Utah-Idaho District’s 57th Annual District Convention is today, Friday the 18th of March! Registration at the Red Lion Hotel in Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah starts from 3:30 PM and ends at 6:00 PM, so please make sure you arrive safely and on time! As the Utah-Idaho Key Club District Board, we hope to see you all have a blast as we are about to go Roman Into Service!

Hello everyone! Some of you are asking to whom you should pay your $50 registration fee. Make sure you or your parents write a check for $50, paid to the order of Utah-Idaho Kiwanis District Foundation. Give your forms and checks to your club presidents, so they may mail/give them to the District Board. Registration packets are due in three days! We hope to see you all soon!
